Recently TCT were involved in the relocation of multiple large trees at the Adelaide Zoo, to create habitat and climbing structures for the new Panda enclosure.
The job involved our Arborists structurally shaping the trees to be suitable for relocation and safe reuse.
The relocation of whole trees required specialised removal techniques due to tight access and location of buildings. The skills of the dedicated TCT staff and a 25 tonne crane to move the trees ensured the process went smoothly.
So when you visit the Zoo and see the Panda’s happily playing in their new enclosure, this is partly due to the efforts of TCT!
